Eclipse Theatre Company is thrilled to announce our premier company: STARS! The STARS will be a group of middle and high school students who receive extensive training, while also being the performance team and ambassadors for Eclipse. 

Audition Information

Students auditioning for STARS will be asked to sing two contrasting musical theatre songs (16-32 bar cut). Auditions will be announced soon. If the student is unable to make the audition date, email info@eclipsetheatre.co to receive instructions for virtual auditions. Callbacks will be announced at an appropriate time in accordance with auditions. At callbacks, students will learn a song and dance combination.

Who are the STARS?

The STARS are students in 6th through 12th grade. They are eager to learn more about musical theatre and have a strong work ethic.

What will the training look like for the STARS?

The STARS will meet at minimum once a week for a class where they will learn performance material, audition etiquette, and other essential skills in the theatre industry. The STARS will be encouraged to attend Spotlight Saturdays (workshops held every month on different theatre topics) and will receive a special STARS discount for this.

What will be involved in the performance aspect of the STARS?

The STARS will perform at local events like ArtWalk, business openings, and Christmas Jubilee. The STARS will be invited to perform at News appearances. As we continue to grow, we will aim to send the STARS to Junior Theatre Festival.

What does representing the STARS entail?

The STARS will be asked to make public appearances, such as on the news or at local festivals and conventions. They may also be asked to run informational booths at our performances.

What is required to become a part of The STARS?

• Must be in 6th - 12th grade.

• Audition required, to be announced soon. 

• Must audition for all of our productions. If you are unable to be a part of the show, we still ask you to audition. 

• $75 Stars fee a month. This is to cover class time. Discounts will be offered to our Stars for other classes, Spotlight Saturdays, and other offerings of Eclipse Theatre Company.
